Hi,
I’m Jonathan Steers, a 7x founder, startup mentor, passive investment expert and business builder.

I struggled in the corporate world working 80+ hour weeks through my 20’s finally realizing it was unsustainable and did not align with my life goals of raising a family. I struggled for two years trying to be a solo-preneur only to stumble into true entrepreneurship through good friends and happenstance as I turned 30. Since then I have bootstrapped 7 companies totalling high 8 figures in revenue over the past 10 years.

Then at age 35 I semi-retired and have spent the last 6 years making memories with my two daughters (4 and 6) and wife. My passion is helping the less fortunate with Better Together International, that I founded in 2021, and assisting aspiring entrepreneurs find their own freedom.

Find Your Freedom was created to fast-forward the years-long process I struggled through by providing a one-stop shop for aspiring entrepreneurs, at any stage, and to continue learning from the best and brightest minds I can find.

I’m Doug, a 3x entrepreneur, battle-tested real estate investor, and remote team builder.

After 5 years of grinding away in a cubicle as an Asset Manager in a corporate 8-5 job from 2008 to 2013, I formed a partnership and started building my own Real Estate Investment business in 2014. The 3 Real Estate Companies I founded with my partners have gone on to acquire close to 600 single family homes in 36 states across the US. We have helped over 300 families get on the path to affordable home ownership through a rent to own program we developed and fine-tuned. While I am still involved in the day-to-day operations, the exceptional team that we have built has given me the freedom to spend more time with my family and pursue other interests and passions. FYF grew out of my passion to provide a massive impact on the next generation of aspiring entrepreneurs.
